Roksanda Ilincic to open London store

London-based designer Roksanda Ilincic has confirmed the launch of a debut flagship store.

The brand will open a shop at 9 Mount Street in London’s Mayfair early next year. The store, which has been designed in partnership with British architect David Adjaye, is situated in a Grade 2 listed building.

Roksanda Ilincic is the latest in a number of designer labels to have announced the opening of a store on the street in recent months. In September Christopher Kane announced it will open a store on Mount Street by the end of next year and French luxury fashion house Celine will also open a shop.

Ilincic said: “Opening our first store is a huge milestone for me. It is crucial that it is here in London, and this incredible Mount Street site is the perfect location.”

She added: “The store will be the home for the brand in more ways than one, and will be the ideal space for my vision for the label to be fully realised.”

To celebrate the announcement the designer has teamed up with set designer Gary Card on an instalment in the window of the unit featuring a capsule collection of eight Roksanda Ilincic pieces.
