Sainsbury’s began trialling online sales of its Tu clothing brand this weekend, with about 200 customers based in the Midlands invited to take part.
More than 80% of the collection is now available to those customers to buy online. Items are eligible for home or in-store delivery, with approximately 50 stores taking part in click-and-collect.
Until now, Sainsbury’s has used its website only as a promotional tool for Tu. If the pilot is successful, the service will be rolled out more widely in 2015.
