Luxury US department store Saks is understood to have pulled disgraced British designer John Galliano’s eponymous menswear collection from its New York store, following his spectacular fall from grace.
Saks will continue to sell product by Christian Dior, for whom Galliano was head designer until he was fired earlier this month for anti-semitic remarks and erratic behaviour ahead of his Paris Fashion Week show.
Dior is yet to announce who will replace Galliano.
