Sales agents Rogue and Bodega merge

Manchester-based sales agent Rogue Agency has merged with rival Bodega Distribution.

The group will operate under Rogue Agency’s name. It will be run by Rogue Agency’s Richard Dean and Rob Hilditch and Bodega Distribution’s Nico Spirou and Chris Dodd.

Rogue plans to renovate its Manchester showroom and assign a theme to each of its four floors, including one dedicated to its Club 50 initiative, which sells Love Denim to an exclusive selection of 50 retailers, including Sarah Coggles.

“It has become apparent over the years how similar the mechanisms of each business were,” said Dean. “We were contacting the same customers and conducting the same appointments which seemed ludicrous after discussing a potential merger some months ago. Merging the two businesses makes perfect sense.”

Rogue Agency, which handles One Piece of Norway and We Are Saints, also plans to open a London showroom.

“There is now potential for us to have a London showroom, mirroring what we do up here in Manchester, so we do have plans to launch Rogue London,” he added.

All seven employees from both agencies will retain their jobs.

Rogue Agency’s business strategy involves selling forward and fast fashion alongside each other. It represents Joe & Co, Beck and Hersey, Shoreditch Shoe Co, Inner City, Café Culture, Fruit of the Loom, SMK Jeans, Last & True and Bantum.

Loaded Magazine’s new fashion line Loaded Fashion recently appointed Rogue as its sales agent. Rogue will be selling Loaded magazine back cover-printed t-shirts and hoodies into stores in August.
