Footwear firm Ecco has reported 7.4% increase in net sales to €1.3bn (£1bn), while profits before tax rose 4% to €183m (£143m) in 2015.
During the year Ecco opened 174 stores globally and closed 79. The business said it generated sales growth across online, in-store and wholesale in all regions except Russia and the Ukraine.
Dieter Kasprzak, chief executive of Ecco, said: “2015 was characterised by successfully launching innovative collections and investing in the future. These results were achieved by the organisation executing our strategies well, a prerequisite for continuous profit improvement in challenging markets worldwide.”
