Sales leap at Missy Empire in October

Etailer Missy Empire generated £803,000 in sales in October, a 54% climb in revenue compared to the same period last year.

Having suprassed its inital objective of £750,000 for the month, it said that it is now looking to hit £1m in sales in both November and December and has a revised predicted turnover for 2018 of £12m.

Its owner, Ash Siddique, attributed the online retailer’s record sales to improvements to its website and user experience, plus having launched more trend-relevant campaigns.

He said: “It’s great to see the brand continuing to grow and surpass performance targets. We are more focused on creating creative campaigns to keep raising the Missy Empire profile.”

The etailer did not disclose profit figures.
