Sales rise for London's West End

Retailers in London’s West End saw a boost in shoppers in September with sales up 3.4%, according to the New West End Company.

The New West End Company said the rise in sales surpassed the 0.3% increase seen across the UK. The rise comes despite the opening of Westfield Stratford in September, which attracted over one million visitors within ten days of opening.

The New West End Comapny represents 600 retailers in streets including Oxford Street, Bond Street and Regent Street.
