The UK arm of Italian lingerie firm La Perla has reported a 262% rise in sales for the year to 31 December 2015, compared to the previous year.
Turnover at the business increased from £2.4m to £8.7m. The retailer, which has three UK stores in London, also narrowed its losses from £2.1m to £86,369.
In August, La Perla appointed designer Julia Haart as creative director. Haart is adding her own ready-to-wear range to the lingerie offering at La Perla in 2017, including a double-face silk dress, blouses and women’s suits.
