Manchester-based fast fashion etailer Femme Luxe had a 450% year-on-year increase in sales in the year to 31 December 2018, to £4.7m.
It also recorded a 160% year-on-year increase in profits in the period.
Founder Bobby Samari said: “The rapid yet steady sales growth we have experienced can be attributed to our affordable and wearable collections, regular drops of new product, and an impressive social media presence, due to a strong social media outreach team – the team has worked hard to work with the right brand ambassadors and influencers, which has been a huge contributing factor to the brand growth.
“We also invested heavily in to an app and a number of events for celebrities, influencers and customers alike, which really reaped rewards, while the 99p dress collection we launched for Cyber Weekend paved the way for a successful Christmas period, with sales of over £1m. We hope to continue with this momentum through 2019 – January has already been a great month.”
The etailer was founded in 2015 and launched in 2017, and sells women’s clothing and accessories priced from £2.99. It occupies a 25,000 sq ft warehouse.
