Yoox Net-a-Porter Group’s sales jumped 14.5% year on year to €446.2m (£351.2m) for the three months to March 31, as customer numbers swelled to 2.5 million.
The group’s full price platforms - Net-a-Porter, Mr Porter, The Corner and Shoescribe - enjoyed an 11% increase in sales for the quarter, while sales at the firm’s off-price platforms - The Outnet and Yoox - were up 20% year on year.
The number of active customers grew by 300,000 compared to the same period in 2015, and the average order value dropped from €334 (£262) to €324 (£255).
In the UK, sales were up 16.6% to €65m (£51m) for the three months.
During the period, the business signed a deal to design, set-up and manage Isabel Marant’s website, which will be launched in 2017. It also renewed its deal to run Armani’s website for another 10 years and Valentino for another five years.
