Sales up 18% at Inditex’s Stradivarius fascia in Ireland

Sales at Stradivarius in Ireland increased by 18% to €2.5m (£1.8m) for the year to the end of January and the Inditex fascia almost broke even in the country, up from a near €250,000 (£179,600) loss in the previous year.

The Spanish womenswear retailer has outlets in Dublin’s Henry Street and in Newbridge.

Inditex operates stores under the Zara, Berksha, Pull & Bear and Massimo Dutti fascias in Ireland, which have combined revenues of around €80m (£57m), according to the Irish Times. The full annual results have not yet been filed but the newspaper expects the group to post a major uplift in its Irish sales.

Stradivarius is aimed at women between 20 and 35 and launched its first store in the UK at Westfield Stratford in August last year.
