The new 500 sq ft store stocks women’s ready-to-wear, accessories and shoes from brands including Preen, Michael Van Der Ham, Osman, Rupert Sanderson and Issa.

Stephanie Alameida opened a 700 sq ft Salt Resort Wear store on Walton Street in May 2012. The latest store at 77 Elizabeth Street in Belgravia followed after demand grew for “edgy, fun and hard to find labels”.

She worked with Athens-based architect Marilyn Katsaris on the shop fit. Located on the ground floor of a Georgian townhouse, the store features matt gold fittings, dark wood and marble with crystal and agate finishes on display details and door handles.

Alameida said: “I am so thrilled to be opening in London’s Belgravia alongside a great mix of luxury and contemporary brands.

“We saw a huge gap in the market and have answered our customers’ demands, I see this as the organic evolution of the Salt brand and the right home for our first luxury, ready-to-wear offering. I wanted to be able to give people more than just resort wear.”
