Sarah Savva to leave Debenhams

Sarah Savva is leaving her role as director of external business at Debenhams later this year, Drapers understands.

Savva joined Debenhams in 1989 as finance controller and became head of the supply chain in 2003, before taking up her current role with responsibility for concessions in January 2011. She is expected to leave the business before the end of the year.

She is believed to have resigned last month and her departure is not part of a wave of redundancies revealed by Drapers earlier today.

Debenhams declined to comment.
