Footwear retailer Schuh has revealed a new store concept, TwentyFifteen, at its Bluewater store in Kent.
The refit has been designed by London-based design firm MRA Architecture and Interior Design and will be rolled out to all new Schuh stores going forward.
The new store design features bold colours, sustainable materials and a new logo which replaces the circle around the Schuh logo with angular lines.
The design tackles Schuh’s visual merchandising problems by introducing lightweight midfloor units that are now shoppable from all sides.
Digital kiosks are also located throughout the store so customers can look up products and complete sales without having to queue at the till.
Phil Whittle, head of store operations at Schuh, said: “We set out to create a more open and spacious, contemporary environment which really made the product the hero.”
