Schuh is to launch a second Oxford street store in October as part of the company’s plans to increase its estate within central London.
Located at 472 Oxford Street, the outlet will be the brand’s largest one-floor-store, occupying 3000 sq ft.
A third Schuh shop is scheduled to open in 2016, within phase two of the development at the east end of Oxford Street.
As part of the “key” London expansion, a 1600 sq ft store will launch in November in the Jubilee Mall at Canary Wharf.
Phil Whittle, head of store operations at Schuh, said: “These three London signings form part of our wider five year strategy to increase our Southern footprint and gain market share in the capital.
“Our customers have been telling us they want us to have more stores in the area for some time, and we are keen not to let them down - more will follow.”
Schuh has recently opened stores in Kingston, Brent Cross, Wood Green and Watford.
Its growing retail footprint in London is part of a wider expansion plan throughout the UK, with 18 store openings scheduled before the end of 2013.
