Scotch & Soda appoints new CFO

Dutch young fashion brand Scotch & Soda has appointed former Unilever chief financial officer Geert van Iwaarden as its new CFO.

Van Iwaarden has held a number of international roles at Unilever, including finance director for the North America division and CFO for Unilever Greece before becoming CFO for Mexico and Greater Caribbean in June 2013.

He will oversee finance and IT at Scotch & Soda.

“Geert brings a wealth of financial experience to our company and we are therefore very excited to have him on board,” said Scotch & Soda CEO Dirk-Jan Stoppelenburg.

Van Iwaarden added: “I am delighted to join Scotch & Soda, a highly innovative and unique brand and I am thrilled to be able to contribute toward further growth and expansion.”
