Seasalt continues retail rollout with York store

Cornish lifestyle brand Seasalt will open a new store at 20 Davygate in York this week, close to the tourist attractions of the Shambles and Betty’s Tea Rooms.

The store will host a preview evening for local customers tomorrow and officially opens on Saturday. It will stock womenswear, accessories and footwear, as well as a selection of the brand’s Cornish home range.

The business opened at Fox Valley in north Sheffield and in Harrogate in June, and opened its most northerly store at Sanderson Arcade in Morpeth the previous month.

It will also open in Sevenoaks and nearby Tunbridge Wells this month.

In May, chief executive Neil Chadwick told Drapers Seasalt plans to have around 39 stores by the end of the year.
