H&M Group has reported a 3% rise in like-for-like sales to SEK 42,593m (£3.9bn) for the three months to November 30, with the company benefiting from the recent cold weather.
The business, which includes the H&M, & Other Stories and Monki fascias, said seasonal weather helped lift total sales by 13% for the quarter.
Like-for-like sales increased by 10% in November, while total group sales were up 21% in local currencies.
The total number of stores operated by the Swedish high street chain increased by 356 in the year to November 30, taking its total store count to 3,132.
The retailer announced earlier this month that it will extend its sports sub-brand in January following growing demand for activewear. H&M Sport has been designed with input from some of Sweden’s Olympic athletes.
