US footwear brand Sebago, known for its deck shoes, has collaborated with woollen mill Pendleton on a footwear and accessories collection.
Comprised of three blankets and three men’s footwear styles, the collection fuses Sebago’s iconic boat shoe shapes with Pendleton’s patterned woollen textiles. It is launching for autumn 19.
Sebago was founded in 1946 and became known for its “Dockside” boat shoe, which was first launched in 1970.
Pendleton Woollen Mill was established in 1893 in Oregon in the US, and historically created blankets for Native American communities, a connection that is reflected in its geometric prints.
The three woollen blanket designs reference Pendleton’s Native American connections, with intricate stripe detailing, geometric patterns and checks in muted neutral colours. The same designs also appear on the shoes.
Two of the footwear shapes are high-top boat shoes in luxurious tan leather and suede, and one classic boat shoe shape in soft charcoal suede.
Wholesale prices range from £95.45 for the classic boat shoe to £131.82 for the high-tops; 07870 406148; sebago.co.uk
