Secretsales, Matches and Achica join government initiative

Flash Sales site SecretSales, etailer Matches.com and discount site Achica are some of the latest technology companies to join government initiative Future Fifty.

The programme is designed for companies tipped for strong growth, and provides bespoke guidance from the government and private sector, as well as access to services, schemes and programmes from partners.

The three were among 25 companies named this week, with other businesses including travel companies Sky Scanner and Secret Escapes, takeaway one-stop-shop Just Eat

The first 25 were chosen in October, and included sites such as Notonthehighstreet.com and FarFetch.

SecretSales co-founder Nish Kukadia said the inclusion was “simply the icing on the cake for what has been a fantastic quarter and stellar year for the business”.

He added: “We are now looking forward to taking advantage of the programmes and opportunities it makes available to us as we prepare to deliver against key milestones for our customers, staff and investors in 2014”
