Selfridges, Asos and Diesel on Body Confidence Awards shortlist

Retailers including Selfridges, Asos and Diesel have been shortlisted for the Body Confidence Awards 2014 for their work in promoting body confidence through their ranges and media campaigns.

Diesel has been nominated for its ‘We Are Connected’ campaign featuring wheelchair bound model Jillian Mercado. Asos is up for its plus size range Asos Curves and Selfridges has been nominated for The Beauty Project.

The awards will take place during Body Confidence Week (October 13 to 19) at the House of Commons on October 16 with presenters including Gok Wan, paralympian Stef Reid, fashion commentator Caryn Franklin, columnist Viv Groskop and comedienne Juliette Burton.

Caroline Nokes, MP, said: “As our shortlist shows, so many organisations are making headway in this space, but in order to truly make a difference we need to bring it all together and unite our expertise and knowledge.”
