Seminar to examine the future of fashion law

Business law firm Fox Williams will hold its annual Fashion Law seminar on October 12, focused on the future of fashion.

James Pow, executive chairman of premium online retailer Country Attire, will discuss the possibilities going forward in online retail, while Simon Carter, founder of the eponymous menswear brand, will examine how the in-store experience will evolve over the next five years.

Nigel Miller, partner at Fox Williams, will talk through how to avoid the pitfalls of social marketing, and Dermott Rowan, founder of Orla Kiely, will present his experiences on the international fashion story.

Another Fox Williams partner, Audrey Williams, will explain how to calculate holiday pay for employees on commission, followed by Maggie Smart, partner at brand agency Macandi Showrooms and contemporary lifestyle label Folk, who will discuss the future of brands.

The event will be held at RBS International headquarters at 250 Bishopsgate in London from 6pm and is free to attend. Delegates should email to register.
