Shackleton founder joins Harris Tweed Authority

Simon Middleton, the founder of menswear brand Shackleton, has been appointed as brand advisor to the Harris Tweed Authority.

Middleton established Shackleton in 2010 and ran it until August 2016. He also has experience as a brand strategy advisor, and has published a book called Build a brand in 30 days.

At the Harris Tweed Authority, the statutory body responsible for the protection and promotion of the Harris Tweed brand, he will plan and deliver a programme of targeted brand development strategies and activities.
