ShortList launches men's fashion magazine

ShortList Media, the publisher of free titles Shortlist and Stylist, is to unveil a new bi-annual men’s fashion magazine this evening.

The 76-page launch issue of ShortList Mode will be distributed to commuters in London, Leeds, Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester tonight and tomorrow morning and focuses on the theme of celebrating ‘masculine sex appeal’.

ShortList Mode will be available in March and September each year to coincide with the two key fashion seasons.

The magazine has already secured launch advertising from fashion brands such as Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Ugg and Diesel and this issue also has a four page advertorial for Selfridges.

“Fashion advertisers have said to us ‘We love the ShortList product and the audience you reach’,” said ShortList Media managing director Karl Marsden.

“They said ‘we would like our own fashion version that supports our two key periods’.”

ShortList Mode will be produced on glossy paper and 32 pages of the 76-page launch issue will be advertising.  

To compliment the launch, a new luxury channel has been created for Shortlist.com that will feature content for six weeks, timed to each issue.

Shortlist is regarded as one of the most effective titles for driving spikes in sales of product featured.
