Sir Philip Green considers offer for Moss Bros

Sir Philip Green has bought a 28% stake in Moss Bros via the Green family investment company Warbeck.

Warbeck said it had acquired 26.8 million shares in Moss at a price of 24.9p per share. It is understood to have bought the shares from Baugur.

Warbeck added that it was considering its alternatives in relation to Moss Bros, which include making an offer for the remaining shares it does not already own. However it warned that there was no guaruntee an offer would be made.
