Sixty Group hires new CEO

Sixty Group, the company behind young fashion brands Miss Sixty and Energie, has appointed Pietro Bongiovanni as chief executive replacing co-founder Renato Rossi.

Bongiovanni, who has been councillor on the board of directors at Sixty for 16 years, will be responsible for redefining the senior management’s organisational structure.

Rossi, who owns a third of the business, will remain part of the management team.

Sixty has also appointed Guido Pullini as sales and marketing director for brands Miss Sixty, Killah, Energie, Refrigiwear and Murphy & Nye. He joins from footwear brand Geox. Marco Bortoletti, a former chief executive at young fashion brand Replay, will be responsible for developing products.

Sixty said it expects to grow last year’s EBITDA from €43.9m (£38.5m) this year. It also plans to open stores in emerging markets such as China next year.
