Snapchat is launching a new set of ecommerce advertising features, including shoppable advertisements.
The shoppable Snap Ads will launch for all advertisers in October, and will appear in Snapchat’s Ads Manager advertising control centre.
New product catalogues will allow advertisers to use their existing product feeds to help scale and automatically create ads for Snapchat campaigns.
Advertisers will also be able to use advanced pixel targeting to create customised audiences based on specific actions that visitors take on their site. For example, advertisers can target consumers based on their unique shopping preferences when they browse certain product categories, such as shoes.
