Men’s footwear brand Sowerby has appointed a new sales team to introduce the brand to retailers in Scotland and the South West.
Fiona and Neil Harrison from sales agency Faire join the team hoping to increase Sowerby’s retailer network north of the border, while James Pound from agency Salt and Bracken will introduce the brand to stockists in the South West, Cotswold and Norfolk areas.
Pound said: “Working with clients such as Glenbrae and Anna Lascata and with my previous experience at Dubarry, I know what retailers are looking for from their suppliers and Sowerby has that perfect combination of heritage, craftsmanship and quality that lifestyle and country retailers love.”
The news comes after the family-owned business established in 1927 announced it was expanding its sales team across England and Wales last year.
Jo Sowerby, sales and marketing director for Sowerby, said: “It’s wonderful to have Fiona and Neil on board to help us reach out to new customers in Scotland. Just like Sowerby, the Scottish people have strong traditional values and appreciate the importance of heritage. We’re also excited to be working with James and are looking forward to working with more and more retailers across the UK.”
