Stitch attendance increases

Visitor numbers at menswear trade show Stitch grew to 6,000 with website registrations growing by 64% compared to the previous edition of the show in July.

The show, which was held from February 13 to 15 in Earls Court London, saw a record 6,000 visitors pass through its doors.

Founder and managing director Brian Duffy said: “This show has definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of visitors and brand mix. We have had 55% of brands already re-signed including Nicholas Deakins, Duke Clothing, Common People, Deakins and Gabicci Vintage.”

He added: “Overall the show has been a huge achievement and the co-location arrangement with Pure Spirit proved to be successful. I’m positive we are making the right steps forward in putting the UK firmly back on the map for international trade shows.

For the next edition of the show, which will take place in August, organisers are to increase the amount of floor space from 2,000 to 3,000 square metres. Stitch will take place in Earls Court 2, London from August 7 to 9.
