Spanish womenswear retailer Stradivarius will launch a menswear line in 2017, aimed at urban cosmopolitan men aged between 20 and 30.
The retailer, part of the Inditex group, has started assembling a design and sales team for the new range, based at the chain’s head office in Sallent near Barcelona.
Stradivarious had sales of €1.1bn ($780m) at the end of 2014 and 910 stores across 60 markets. It opened its first UK store at Westfield Stratford in August last year.
The 4,252 sq ft flagship offers T-shirts priced from £5.99 to £15.99 and dresses from £19.99 to £35.99.
