Streetwear brand Your Own (YO) strikes Topman deal

Your Own (YO), the streetwear brand set up by Gio Goi founders Anthony and Christopher Donnelly, has signed a deal to open 10 Topman concessions, including one in the menswear chain’s Oxford Street flagship.

The concessions, which will sit in Topman locations including Manchester Arndale, Newcastle and Reading, will offer 54 pieces from the range, including coats, jackets, sweatshirts and polo shirts from next week. The range will also be stocked on Topman’s website. Retail prices will start from £30 for a T-shirt and go up to £150 for a coat.

The deal with the Arcadia-owned chain signals a bigger push into wholesale for the brand, which the brothers set up in 2012 after they stepped away from Gio Goi, the label they founded in 1987. Gio Goi went into administration in 2013 and was snapped up by JD Sports.

YO showcased at Jacket Required on July 30-31 for the first time, as it looks to increase its current level of 10 stockists, which include USC, London independent Present and Scotts. A spokeswoman for the brand said the business remained “selective as to who stocks the brand”. Wholesale prices for autumn 15 start from £11 for a T-shirt and go up to £56 for a coat.
