Streetwear retailer relocates in Seven Dials

Skateboard clothing retailer Slam City Skates will relocate to a larger store in Seven Dials, central London, later this spring.

The retailer, which was founded in 1986, plans to move and upsize from its current 1,280 sq ft store at 16 Neal’s Yard to a new 1,650 sq ft shop at 37 Endell Street.

The Neal’s Yard store was its first when it opened in 1988. It now trades from two other London stores in Bethnal Green, which opened in 2013, and an outlet in Enfield, which opened in January.

The retailer features collections from skating brands including Nike SB, Supra, Altamont, Vans, Adidas and Palace.

Sam Bain-Mollison, head of group retail strategy and letting at Shaftesbury, said: “They add to our unique mix of leading international brands, creating an offer that appeals to domestic and international visitors alike.”

Property agents Shackleton and JLL acted for the landlord Shaftesbury and Slam City Skates represented themselves.
