Stylight launches in Ireland

Aggregator site launches with Superdry, Asos, Marks & Spencer, PrettyLittleThing and Ireland’s Lighthouse Clothing and McElhinneys.

Affiliate platform Stylight has launched in Ireland as an Irish-specific website, with partner retailers including Asos, Marks & Spencer and PrettyLittleThing.

The site will use the same business model as it does in the UK, operating with a cost-per-click model with partner stores.

Launch partners also include Superdry, as well as Irish retailers such as Lighthouse Clothing and Donegal-based McElhinneys.

Mary Gleeson, business development manager UK, IE and AU, said: “As Ireland is the only English-speaking country in Europe outside of the UK and a market that seems to be constantly increasing in demand from its consumers which reached a new height post-Brexit, we felt that this is a market that and an online aggregator site such as Stylight would sit perfectly within.”

The site was founded in 2008 in Munich by four students who wanted to make the fashion landscape more accessible by launching a simple search tool for an entrepreneurship programme. It now operates in 16 countries.
