Styx boss sets up distributor

John O’Donnell, owner of premium casualwear independent Styx in Manchester, has set up a new distribution company called Elusive Distribution which will specialise in bringing US labels to the UK.

Elusive Distribution has launched with three men’s T-shirt brands – Bulzeye, Xzabier and Political Tease – which O’Donnell discovered on a trip to Las Vegas this summer.
Bulzeye is a Miami-based brand that sits alongside Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier.

Its T-shirts are embellished with Swarovski crystals and the range has been picked up by Intro and Norton Barrie in Manchester, and Script in Liverpool.Xzabier was founded in California 12 months ago and focuses on T-shirts with skull, angel and dragon motifs. Prices range from £20 to £32.Los Angeles brand Political Tease offers digitally printed T-shirts based on works of art, priced from £24.
