Sugarhill Boutique is preparing to open its first full-price stores as part of a plan to boost sales to £10m in the next three years.
The women’s young fashion brand, which already has an outlet store in its hometown of Brighton, is planning to open its first full-price store either at the end of this year or early next year.
The store, expected to be around 800 sq ft, will be in London, with the brand keen to secure another two in the capital within the next two years. Any stores will also stock sister brand Poppy Lux.
If successful, stores could be rolled out regionally from 2016, initially in towns and cities in southern England.
Managing director Pawel Przedpelski told Drapers: “We have worked hard to make the product more commercial and we are now at a point where the look and price points are more competitive than ever.”
Sugarhill Boutique is also working on its own accessories range, which it plans to launch in August 2015.
Sugarhill Boutique has about 200 UK stockists and around 400 overseas, plus six UK concessions.
Projected sales for 2014-15 are £4.5m Sugarhill Boutique’s wholesale prices range from £10.70 for a top to £39 for a coat.
