Young fashion brand Superdry is to upsize its Bluewater store, with the new shopfit to serve as a template for future locations.
The 9,570 sq ft store will open next spring and will be a relocation from its existing unit 2,000 sq ft in the shopping centre.
SuperGroup chief executive Jullian Dunkerton said: “Bluewater is continuously one of our best-performing locations in the world, so upsizing to create a flagship for the Superdry brand is long over-due. The new Bluewater store will be a template for the business as we focus on select locations in the UK and further afield.”
This latest signing is the Kent shopping centre’s 32nd this year, and follows Gant doubling its previous store to create a 5,600 sq ft flagship that stocks the brand’s homewares and children’s ranges alongside the traditional menswear offer.
American lifestyle brand Gilly Hicks also opened a 7,200 sq ft store at Bluewater, the brand’s only one in the South East, in May this year.
