Suppliers sign up for fundraising challenge

Development agency CARE International has signed menswear firm Morrison McConnell and schoolwear supplier Banner to take part in the Prima Solutions Adventure Challenge.

The event, which is open to retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers, is sponsored by software group Prima Solutions. Participating teams will hike, cycle, and canoe across Snowdonia National Park in Wales to raise money for CARE.

Morrison McConnell, which designs and sources brands including Van Heusen and Tootal, is taking part for the second time this year, with the four-strong team running local events to raise extra cash.

Banner, the UK's largest schoolwear supplier, is also holding local car washing and barbecue events, and will receive business sponsorship.

Drapers is the media partner for the event, which takes place on September 16 in Snowdonia.

Registration is still open and places are limited. For more information, visit
