Sweaty Betty to open Shoreditch store

Women’s activewear retailer Sweaty Betty is opening a store in Shoreditch, east London.

The retailer will open its 38th boutique at 3 Redchurch Street next month. It has signed a 10-year lease.

Founder Tamara Hill-Norton said: “It’s an area that’s full of energy and creativity. We are planning a store fit-out which reflects the dynamism of Shoreditch and its shopping environment.”

The store will stock Sweaty Betty’s full range, encompassing yoga clothes, running kit, ski and beach wear and tennis clothing.

Sweaty Betty opened its first shop in Notting Hill 15 years ago and also has two stores in New York.

Colliers International advised Sweaty Betty on the deal.
