Swimwear designers missing a trick

Some 39% of women can find swimsuits in their size but not in the style that they want according to a survey by 100% people.

The poll, carried out by 100% People, found that plus size women would like to see more swimwear options for their sizes. This includes more swim-skirts - swimsuits with skirts attached.

The survey found that 47% of women opted for a one-piece swimsuit, 27% chose bikinis and 18% wore tankinis.

Over 90% of women own at least one item of swimwear but only 9% of them said they wear it to the beach, pool or in the garden, with the majority of those polled saying they wear it mostly at indoor pools.

  • You should direct plus size women to a great international website: They have fashion forward styles of their own design that are specifically constructed to fit and flatter the 16W-26W customer. They sell swimwear, coer ups and sundresses, athletic wear and plus size lingerie. Plus, their customer service is stellar and they ship all over the world effortlessly
