Tailor Chester Barrie pops up in Fenwick

Savile Row tailor Chester Barrie has opened its first ever pop-up eveningwear concession, in the Bond Street store of iconic department store Fenwick.

The pop-up, which carried three different eveningwear styles - a velvet peak, a classic peak tuxedo and a charcoal mohair three-piece - came about as a result of both Chester Barrie and Fenwick sponsoring the Olivier Awards together.

The pop-up launched at the start of April and will run until Easter.

Chris Scott-Gray, marketing manager for Chester Barrie, said that the pop-up had been great for business, not just from a sales perspective, but also in terms of building brand awareness and an ability to gauge high-street demand.

Scott-Gray said “Fenwick’s team were simply a dream to work with,” adding the business would “definitely” consider more pop-ups in future.
