Take That prepare to relight M&S’s fire

Marks & Spencer has scored a huge coup by signing boy band Take That to front its Autograph ad campaign.

Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Jason Orange will star in the autumn campaign, which breaks on October 4 in consumer magazines and national newspapers, and on billboards.

The deal will be M&S’s most high-profile menswear campaign under marketing director Steven Sharp, who has previously signed comedians and football pundits to model menswear. Sharp said: “We are excited to have Take That on board, especially because of their support for our Plan A eco-initiative.” M&S will sponsor the band’s forthcoming world tour.
