Teatum Jones wins Woolmark womenswear prize

British label Teatum Jones has won this year’s International Woolmark Prize for womenswear.

The design duo behind the label, Catherine Teatum and Rob Jones, have received £64,000 and their capsule collection will be sold in stores worldwide, including Harvey Nichols in London, Saks Fifth Avenue in New York and 10 Corso Como in Milan.

Six designers showed their collections in this year’s final and judges included Imran Amed, founder of the website Business of Fashion; Roopal Patel, a fashion director at Saks Fifth Avenue; and Stefano Tonchi, the editor-in-chief of W magazine.
