Exclusive: Ted Baker ecommerce head exits

Ted Baker’s head of ecommerce Suzanne Egleton has left the business, Drapers understands.

Numerous industry sources indicated Egleton has departed, however Ted Baker declined to comment.

Egleton joined Ted Baker in 2014 after three years in the same position at French Connection. Prior to that she was a consultant head of direct and ecommerce at Joules for two years.

The moves come four months after Ted Baker’s global retail director, Chris Browne, exited the company after 29 years.

Ecommerce led a sales surge for the business over the Christmas period as online sales leapt by 35% in the eight weeks to 6 January. Total tales rose by 9% compared with the same period last year.
