Ted Baker promotes head of menswear to board

Ted Baker has promoted its head of menswear, Rebeeca Rodden, to associate director with a position on the company’s board.

Rodden joined Ted Baker in September 1998 as head of menswear, a position she held for 19 years until she was promoted last month.

The elevation of the role to associate director has been described by Ted Baker as part of the “evolution and growth of the business”. The new role will see Rodden report directly to chief executive Ray Kelvin.

In June Drapers revealed that Ted Baker’s womenswear director Catherine Scorey had left the business after 12 years.

In Ted Baker’s latest results, group revenue at the brand increased 4.2% year on year in the 19 weeks to 9 June, despite unseasonal weather at the beginning of the season.
