Ted Baker's head of ecommerce jumps ship to Tesco

Tesco has poached Ted Baker’s head of ecommerce to head up its online grocery and home shopping business.

Eve Henrikson was at Ted Baker for seven years and led the relaunch of its UK website in October 2013 - a move credited with helping to lift online sales by 48% between January and June 2014.

She also oversaw the development of its US ecommerce site, which launched in August.

Henrikson has joined Tesco earlier this month as online trading director for grocery home shopping. It is not known who will replace her at Ted Baker.

Ted Baker did not respond to requests for comment. Tesco confirmed Henrikson’s appointment and title, but declined to give further detail.
