Temperley London sets date to throw open flagship doors

Designer label Temperley London is to open its first flagship store next Saturday showcasing the “World of Temperley”.

The 2,500 sq ft store at 27 Bruton Street will open its doors for the first time at 10am on December 1.

The shop will house all three Temperley collections - Temperley London, Alice by Temperley and Temperley Bridal. It will also feature a private shopping area.

Designer Alice Temperley said: “This store is the first proper opportunity I have had to showcase the World of Temperley and it has been a joy to realise it at Bruton Street.

“I wanted to create an effortless and timeless environment with a touch of decadence to compliment my collections in the heart of the city.”

The store features art deco clothing rails inspired by vintage bird cages and bespoke furniture in rich plum fabrics. Antique furnishings including vintage chandeliers, antique gold mirrors and a six ft bronze palm tree lamp will feature and the store will also house a revolving seasonal exhibition.

Temperley added: “The store is truly British, with a sumptuous French salon feel that I hope is inspirational but accessible. This is a real milestone moment for the Temperley brand and I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved.”
