Tesco to generate funds by offloading restaurant chain

Tesco is reportedly considering a sale of its loss-making restaurant chain Giraffe, in a bid to generate funds to turnaround its ailing core business.

  • Now somebody please explain. You buy a profitable company for 50 million and within a few years its making a loss. They have millions of customers passing through their doors, so what happend?
