Tesco to sell House of Fraser products online

Tesco has signed a deal with House of Fraser to sell the department store’s products online, as the supermarket seeks to stem declining sales.

Following a trial last month Tesco will sell 2,000 homeware products from HoF including items from brands Linea and Pied a Terre making it the biggest retailer to have signed up to Tesco Direct since it opened to third party retailers two years ago.

Tesco also renewed its partnership with all 50 retailers signed up to its website to offer customers clubcard points on their purchases, according to The Daily Mail.

Tesco is expected to report a 3.5% slump in like-for-like sales at its British stores in the three months to the end of May.

  • HOF and Tesco? Clearly somebody owed somebody else a favour! Says more about HOF than it does about Tesco.
