The Fashion Business Club to interview Nathan Jenden

The Fashion Business Club (FBC) will interview Nathan Jenden, the creative director of Diane von Furstenberg (DVF) and Nathan Jenden at its September 24 meeting.

The event will take place at Il Bottaccio , 9 Grosvenor Place, London and Jenden will be interviewed by FBC member and head of womenswear design at Aquascutum Michael Herz.

British-born designer Jenden has been creative director of DVF since 2001 and has worked at Daryl K, Tommy Hilfiger, Kenzo and John Galliano.

Jenden launched his eponymous label in February 2006 with a runway show at Lady Mendl’s Tea Room during New York Fashion Week.

FBC co-founder and co-chairman Courtney Blackman said: “I can’t wait to watch a fashion designer interview another fashion designer. It will be intriguing to hear what questions Michael asks Nathan, and to hear how Nathan manages his duel role as creative director for both Diane von Furstenberg and his own label.”

FBC is a business-focused members club, created on the basis of bringing fashion professionals together at an informal venue to listen to inspiring speakers, learn and do business together.

FBC meets six times a year on the last Thursday of every other month from 3:00pm-

4.30pm in London’s West End.
