The North Face to conquer Regent Street

Outdoor brand The North Face will open a flagship store at 209 Regent Street in London this autumn.

The 4,300 sq ft store will feature the full clothing offer and on-site lockers allowing shoppers to leave their belongings and explore the city. The store will also have in-store screens showing short films of athletes and skylight windows will “transform the store to bring to life the weather” according to the season.

Arne Arens, vice president of The North Face, said: “London is a hotbed of people that love adventure and outdoor exploration, and this store has been designed with them in mind. It has a rich history of exploration and has given rise to some of the most world-renowned adventurers, making it the ideal location to set up our newest camp and encourage people to escape the ordinary.”

Leading up to the opening, “explorers” will be giving out gifts and prizes to shoppers on the streets of London and will be encouraging them to use the hashtag #spottheexplorer to post their sightings to The North Face Twitter and Facebook pages.

The North Face has eight stores in the UK including branches in Westfield Stratford, Carnaby Street and Covent Garden.
